Devilsaurs and Exotic Pets

Trinia hit 60 today, so I went to go tame my Tyrant Devilsaur I've been waiting for. As soon as I hit 60 in Ramparts, I silently went, "Yes! Exotic pets~" I only plan on getting two exotic pets, to allow for easy Dual-Speccing without worries. (Those two being a Rhino and my Devilsaur.)

So, I ventured into the depths of Un'Goro Crater and followed the path of the somewhat elusive, yet dangerous Devilsaur. As I was just saying, "Here Tyrant... Oh, Tyrant~" I spotted a Tyrant Devilsaur. I followed him for about 2 minutes to find a good spot to tame him, (Which I knew he would reach eventually.) where I would not be interrupted while taming him. I found it hilarious, how while I was following him he crossed paths with another Tyrant Devilsaur. I giggled at that as I continued to track him. When he reached the springs, in western Un'Goro, I placed one of my new freeze traps (20second duration is yes, when taming!) shot him with a concussion arrow, and began taming. Quickest tame ever. If anyone was wondering, I named the poor thing, Walnut. I love him, he's fierce, but he's still adorable. ;3

However, I get to the main part of my post: When taming the exotic pets, even Devilsaurs which are supposed to be, "leet," when leveling, (especially if you grab one right at 60 where Outlands eats everyone and everything) be careful with your pets. At 55, with you at 60, and the mobs about 60-61+, you'll have to be more careful with mobs as your pet will not generate as much aggro and DPS. This also means, when it's 55, don't go join that Ramps group with it! Use the pet you leveled to 60 with. However, Exotic Pets are supposed to be like the Epics of the Pet World, so in the end, it will be a good pet, just be careful with it at 60 when you first tame it. <33

Gear anyone? :D

As Trinia grows steadily closer to 80, (currently sitting at a nice 57,) I have begun to compile a list of gear that can be gained through instances and rep rewards (Like Exalted with Argent Crusade and such.)

I can try and post a lot of it here now, yet tweaks might be made if I find something better. Realize this is pre-raiding and does not include items that can be gained through Naxxramas, Vault of Archavon, or from Obsidian Sanctum. Most it includes is rep rewards, Normal instances, Heroic instances, crafted items and Heroism Badge rewards.

Day 1: Leveling.

I will tire of it.

I keep surfing the web instead of actually focusing.

I'm trying to level Trinia, currently. Got 30 more levels till 80 and I can raid as a Hunter, and cannot wait. Semi-sick of sitting in melee range getting hammered by AoEs from bosses and mobs (Dark Touched Warriors in Naxx, anyone?) My summer break started June 3rd and I've only really gotten Trinia and my two pets, Pearl the Ghost Saber and Melo previously Ressan the Needler. (Melo means Apple in Greek, if anyone was wondering.) I'm leveling as Beast Mastery and beginning to look at addons and UIs that would be great for raiding. (I'll probably raid as Marks or Survival as I haven't decided yet.)

Now, about my Druid...

Druid forms. 3.2. Hell yes.

I get stuck with the purple furred Bear with a green mane, and the blue cat for Florelline.

Oh well. New skins are still nice after you've seen the form for a long time.

On another note, on Saturday I'll finally step my paws into Ulduar. My guild, Primal Chaos is going to try to down the first few bosses. I'm geared enough for halfway through normal Ulduar, and I'll have to read the strategies, but I think we'll do fine. I have to get up at 5am, but I think we'll do fine. I'll post about how it went after. <3

New Blog: Yes!

Wow. My first blog. Not exactly sure what spurred me into it, besides wanting to share my experiences. (However, I did get the motivation to start one from Aspect of the Hare.)

Now, to make this clear, this blog will be about mainly my adventures playing my druids and hunters, as I love them very much. Every once and a while, you might see posts about other characters I plan to level up, yet as you can see from the title, mainly about cats, bears and arrows. :D

Little bit about myself first, I'm a 15 year old girl (16 in October.) Who plays World of Warcraft (As well as City of Heroes.) I have two main servers currently, the US server Greymane where my main Druid resides. Her name being Florelline, a level 80 Nightelf Feral/Feral Druid. My other main server, Aman'Thul on the Oceanic servers (my original server since I've been playing WoW,) holds my main Hunter, Trinia. She's a Night Elf as well, sitting at 50 as I write this, who I'm going to spend summer leveling so I may raid with the raiding guild which moved over to Aman'Thul for better raiding times. (Australians in the US servers raiding at 4am Server time is a No no.)

I also live in Egypt, hence why I wanted to move with them. If anyone who begins to follow my blog has any questions about me or my playstyle, feel free to ask. This will mainly be a casual blog to show to myself and to others how a casual gamer who has to deal with school and moving and other such nonsense evolves. :)
